Whether you have a small bathroom reno, deck build, complete gut job or new build; our process is catered to you and your project. Reno Guys Inc is here to take your vision and make it into a reality.

 

We understand what it means to you when you choose to complete your Renovation or New Build. After all we are also homeowners, couples, parents and grandparents. Your home is so much more than walls, windows and a yard, it is a piece of you and we know what it feels like to want to make it YOUR OWN!!!

 

But that can be scary. There are so many questions like:

Where do you start? Who do you call? Do I need a permit? Am I going to go over budget?

 

Those are all valid questions. But if you choose to hire Reno Guys Inc we take all the unknowns away, because we do it all right from the very beginning. We take care of every aspect of the renovation, unless otherwise requested. We will get all the permits, do all the scheduling, manage all the contractors, order all the product and complete the work with quality workmanship.

 

After the work is completed you can rest assured we offer a 1 year warranty on labour and materials, as well as any additional warranties our sub-contractors will provide.

CONSULTATION:

We’ll come for a home site visit free of charge to walk through your space and discuss your wish list. We will take measurements and ask all the necessary questions in order to provide you with a detailed estimate.

ESTIMATE:

From the information we gathered during the consultation we will email you a detailed estimate for your scope of work. This is only an estimate. We strive to make our estimates as accurate as possible, but things can always change once you start picking actual products and making final decision.

APPROVAL & INITIAL PAYMENT:

If the estimate terms and amount is accepted and approved we move forward in collecting an initial payment to get the project underway. Design and project development starts the minute that you say YES LET'S DO THIS!!

DESIGN AND PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

Depending on the scope of work for your project this phase could have many different faces. Our team will be working to accomplish the following aspects of the project:

  • Drafting 2D layouts to acquire permits and offer visuals and specifics for you and the construction team

  • Submit for and Acquire any necessary permits

  • Creating 3D layouts if your project requires them or they have been requested

  • Meeting and discussing with you to make fixture and finish selections for all portions of the renovation

  • Get final pricing for all fixture and finish selections that have been made

  • Update you with a revised renovation price that reflects what has been chosen, then you as our client have the options to:

    • accept the revised renovation price, because it is everything you want, and the price is acceptable!​

    • revisit the choices selected because maybe the choices went over budget, but don't worry we can make changes to get the budget to where we want it without sacrificing your vision.

  • SIGN OFF AND FINAL APPROVAL ON ALL CHOICES

  • Order all fixtures and finishes

  • Schedule the renovation/new build

DEMO DAY:

Finally the DAY you have been waiting for!!! And well it deserves it's own day! This is when we come in and get rid of everything that reminds you of before so we can prepare the space for what's to come!!!!!

ADDITIONAL COSTS:

If at anytime during the renovation process something occurs that would result in additional costs to be incurred, work will pause until it has been discussed with you. We don't want you to have any surprises when the final invoice comes back, so we strive to keep the communication open.

AND SO IT BEGINS:

This is where the project will start taking on it's final shape. But we all know there are lots of things that happen in the beginning to make the ending so much sweeter. This is how an interior renovation is laid out, and dependent on the scope of work only some or all of these sections will be completed.

​

  1. Framing and Construction (including windows)

  2. Plumbing and HVAC Rough-in

  3. Electrical Rough-in

  4. Vapor Barriers and Insulation if needed

  5. Initial Inspections if required

  6. Drywall, Mud and Tape (it's starting to look like something new now)

  7. Primer and First coat of paint (let's add some color)

  8. Interior Doors and Casing to be hung and adjusted

  9. Second Coat of Paint on walls, doors and casing

  10. Cabinetry install (wait!! Already?? Now we're rocking)

  11. Countertop Template

  12. Countertop Install

  13. Electrical Finish (let's light things up!!!)

  14. Flooring and Tile (we're in the homestretch)

  15. Finishing - Baseboards, doors and hardware, bathroom accessories, all those finishing touches

  16. Plumbing Fixture Install and Silicone

  17. Final Paint Touch Ups

TA-DA!

We don’t want to keep you waiting so we try our best to complete your renovation in a timely manner. But we all know delays occur, our communication will remain constant on these matters. 

It is now time to enjoy your new space, home, deck or whatever it may be!!!!

BUT DON'T FORGET!

We offer 1 year warranty on all labour and materials. We will give you some time to enjoy your new home, but be sure to let us know if anything needs attention after we are done!
